What do you remember of your first day?
I was made to do all the washing up in the office and clean the toilets. It was great and I couldn’t wait until the next day to do the same again.

How would you describe your time with the business?
My time here at YorkWoldPig Pro has been fantastic. I progressed from washer-upper to Pic Finishing Manager after 5 years and my responsibilities have increased over the 25 years.

What do you like most about your job?
I love the people I work with. We have a great working relationship and everyone knows their own role as well as supporting other team members.

What do you like doing when you are not at work?
I like course fishing and spending time with my family. We have been on some fantastic holidays. I also own a motorbike, so take of on sunny weekends wherever I please.
